Electrically Conductive Double-Sided Tape 9772 Series
9772 series tape from 3M™ offers excellent performance and reliable contact to small-sized grounding areas
3M electrically conductive double-sided tape 9772 series is an XYZ-axis conductive foil tape that consists of a conductive matrix carrier (copper foil), a conductive acrylic adhesive, and PET release liners on the top and bottom. The tape features excellent performance and reliable contact to small-sized grounding areas in a thinner format, 9772-30 (0.030 mm) and 9772-50 (0.050 mm).
The tape 9772 series provides XYZ-axis-based conductivity, with high XY-axis electrical resistance compared to other standard double-sided conductive tapes. The conductive acrylic-based adhesive provides high adhesion for a thin double-sided tape. The tape also offers excellent conformability, good EMI shielding in the bond-line gap, and electrical contact to small-sized areas, making it a reliable double-sided tape for challenging EMI design applications.
