Crimp Tools and Dies

Amphenol Times Microwave Systems supplies a variety of crimp tools to assure that the second to the last step in the termination process is easy and performed properly every time. The proper die size is critical to providing optimal connector retention and optimal VSWR. The CT-U crimp handle is the most rugged crimp handle of its type and size on the market. It will not release until the crimp cycle has been completed and provides opposing dies for the most uniform crimp possible, a safety release, and storage sockets for an extra set of dies. A full set of precision ground and hardened dies are available for this crimp handle. The CT-500 and CT-600 offer smaller, more economical crimp handles that have dedicated dies. These tools also use an opposing action. These tools do not have the strength or leverage of the CT-U but are great for tackling small jobs. Times also offers several economical hinge pin crimp tools which have multiple dedicated ground dies. One of these tools (CT-240/200/100) will cover Times' three smallest LMR cables while the CT-400/300 covers their two mid-range LMR cables.
