Power Integrations' InnoSwitch™3-EP family of offline CV/CC QR flyback switcher ICs feature 900 V PowiGaN™ GaN switches

Image of Power Integrations' InnoSwitch3-EP Flyback Switcher Power Integrations' InnoSwitch3-EP family of ICs dramatically simplifies the design and manufacture of flyback power converters, particularly those requiring high efficiency and/or compact size. The InnoSwitch3-EP family incorporates a high-voltage power switch, primary and secondary controllers, and safety-rated feedback into a single IC. These devices integrate multiple protection features including line overvoltage and undervoltage protection, output overvoltage and overcurrent limiting, and overtemperature shutdown. Devices are available with standard and peak power delivery options, as well as commonly used auto-restart protection behaviors.
