Renesas' smart trekking pole solution provides auto alerts via a CAT-M1 module if a user fulfills certain conditions

This smart trekking pole product provides auto alerts, such as GPS tracking, via a CAT-M1 module if a user has fallen, hits a particular heart rate, or fulfills another condition.

Additional features include IoT functions for auto-SOS, cloud/app monitoring, real-time positioning, tracking and monitoring, and other location-based services (LBS). Renesas provides the entire bill of materials (BOM), including the Bluetooth® low energy (LE) module, temperature/humidity sensor, biosensor, and power products.
