STMicroelectronics' servo drive evaluation board allows designers to develop precision three-phase PMSM applications in a real-time EtherCAT industrial automation networks. The board includes a performance STM32F767ZI MCU running multi-axial position control firmware with efficient and accurate output power regulation via the STDRIVE101 triple half-bridge gate driver and STH270N8F7-2 power MOSFET.
EtherCAT communication is managed by the NETX90 network controller, and the CLT03-2Q3 (input) and IPS160H (output) ICs provide digital actuation support for industrial IO management.
The STEVAL-ETH001V1 is equipped with two RJ45 connectors for daisy chain connection and an RS485 interface for digital encoder or host connection powered by the ST3485EI transceiver.
