IP Rated Switches | Datasheet Preview

Harsh environmental conditions can present a challenge to electromechanical switches. But that’s not the case with NKK’s IP-rated switches. These switches, offered in an extensive selection of environmentally-sealed switches, are designed specifically for the hazards of heat, cold, humidity and the exposure to elements. The IP code rates the degree of protection against solid materials and objects, which is designated by the first number. The second number signifies the level of liquid protection. Example switches include toggles, rockers, programmable switches, rotaries, and pushbuttons, including emergency stop devices. Temperature ratings range from minus 30 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius, with current ratings from 0.5 amps up to 20 amps.
