This engineering report describes an LCD Monitor power supply utilizing the TOPSwitch®-HX TOP256 from Power Integrations Inc.

This flyback converter configuration, built around the TOP256 (U1), provides two output voltages; a 5 V output and a 15 V output. Each delivers a load current of 2.0 A. This power supply operates using inputs between 90 VAC and 264 VAC. The main output, 5 V, is regulated using voltage reference U3. A small portion of the feedback signal is also derived from the 15 V output.
