Image of Würth Elektronik MagI³C VDMM Variable Step Down MicroModule The Würth Elektronik MagI³C power module family includes several sub series of fully integrated DC-DC supplies that combine the switching regulator, inductor, and small input/output capacitors in a single package. The VDMM series is designed for very small, low power, point of load applications. These devices support 2.5 V to 5.5 V input voltages, making them ideal for generating regulated rails from standard 3.3 V or 5 V sources, with efficiencies up to 96%, minimal board space, and short design time.

In addition, other MagI³C module series support much wider input voltage ranges, with devices rated up to 36 V or even 60 V, designed for industrial, automotive, and distributed power systems that derive supply rails from 12 V, 24 V, or 48 V.
