Eaton's high-power shielded drum core inductors are built for high shock and vibration environments

Image of Eaton DRA Series Shielded Drum Core InductorsEaton's DRA series of inductors are ruggedly constructed for use in high shock and vibration environments normally seen in automotive or transportation applications. DRAP series further expands on the rugged construction by offering a secure four terminal mounting for severe vibration environments up to 30 g. These inductors are constructed of ferrite material which provides excellent magnetic shielding to reduce EMI noise and are built in five mechanical sizes to fit a wider range of applications like automotive body electronics, engine and powertrain systems, and chassis and safety electronics.

Eaton's selector tool is designed to accelerate the selection of components for individual automotive systems and requirements.

  • Mounting termination options: DRA = 2 Pad, DRAP = 4 Pad (severe vibration)
  • Magnetically shielded to reduce EMI

  • Inductance range from 0.28 µH to 1000 µH
